Have you ever set a Big Hairy Audacious Goal1 (BHAG) for yourself?
For a runner, a BHAG might be crossing the finish line at their first marathon.
For an entrepreneur, a BHAG might be taking their innovative idea, creating a thriving business and turning their dreams into reality.
BHAGs definitely take determination, hard work, creativity and drive. There is a long list of smaller goals that need to be met in order to complete a BHAG. One thing’s for sure, it helps to surround yourself with a team who can guide, support, and cheer you on your way.
For entrepreneurs and industry partners, that’s where Georgian College’s Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (RIE) department comes in. Our mission to Educate, Inspire and Activate means we work with individuals like you to start, grow, or scale your business. Through mentorship, educational programming, networking events, or grant funding, we can give you the tools you need to make your BHAG a reality.
